A Hatchling Leaves the Nest
I said goodbye to one of my clients this morning. She is moving to a beautiful and picturesque small town in Colorado and starting her own jewelry making business. She also has a couple of other business ideas in her back pocket which she is sure to pursue once she gets settled and gets her new business somewhat solidified.
We have worked together over the last 2 months brainstorming, dreaming, imagining, creating and deciding. Together we shared laughs, histories, knowledge, wisdom and tea. I will miss working with her, but I know that she is embarking on a long awaited journey of self discovery and wish fulfillment. I know we will keep in touch and exchange ideas over the e-mail or phone and who knows – maybe we’ll even act on an idea that sprung to me this morning as I wishing her well on her trip – (to put together a glorious women artisans weekend in the mountains), but until then I know that she will now be living her dream and doing what she is most passionate about.
I just ready the Daily Om from yesterday and I think it articulates beautifully my sentiments regarding my client’s new endeavors. Ever since we started working together and laying the groundwork for her shift, things have somewhat magically fallen into place. This Daily Om explains how this can happen so exquisitely when you make up your mind to finally do what you love.
